About

“I started riding at the age of 5 at my local riding school, competed and enjoyed every disipline until I was 13, before specialising in dressage.

At 16, I got involved with BYRDS(British Young Rider Dressage Scheme), where I met trainer Vicki Thompson. It was through Vicki that I was fortunate enough to train with the late Spanish Riding School Chief Rider, The Great Franz Rochowansky, with whom I studied Classical Riding and Training, which started a lifelong passion.

In subsequent years, I continued to gain a wealth of knowledge and riding experience on my own horses, by teaching clients, and also by training with top trainers such as Eileen O’Connor, Bert Rutten, Markus Bauer, Markus Gribbe & Ulla Salzgeber.

My aim as a rider, is to always better my knowledge and understanding of horses.

I believe you are always learning, and one of the most important aspects of dressage training is to produce healthy, athletic and happy horses who are then enthusiastic and successful in their work.

As a trainer I love to help anyone wanting to learn correct, classical dressage on any type or level of horse. We will work together to help you achieve your own personal goals and ambitions, and help you achieve the best results from your horse.

After a few years living, training and sourcing horses in Spain, I have developed a love and passion for Iberian horses and the unique qualities they bring to sport. They have a generous spirit that is second-to-none, and is really suited to the amateur rider.

Based here in beautiful Andalusia, I am ideally placed to source Iberian horses, while enjoying the benefits of top class international facilities for trial and training. As well as offering classical riding holidays in amazing surroundings, I also regularly attend the UK to give clinics.”
